This was a much-manipulated photo of a sculpture of a bronze heron done by a friend of mine, Neil Clifford.  We were participating in a show in late October, and the sky behind Neil's sculpture was heavy and ominous.

Using Photoshop, I took the stand out and obscured a lot of the background trees with simulated fog or clouds to try and capture the feeling of the imminent storm.  Later that day, we got our first real snowstorm of the season.
