Charlie is a Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel. The image above is a computer mockup
I made to show my friend and client how the final portrait
will look.
These are the photos of Charlie I took for reference. In
Photoshop, I pieced some of them together in order to include
the details which were important to Charlie's owner...the freckles
on his nose, his tail (which will need to be straightened out)
and the contrasting white and chestnut colours of his coat. I
print them out on one sheet so that I have them all together
when I want to emphasize certain details.
Charlie will
be done as a pastel portrait. When finished, the piece
will be approximately 11 inches by 14 inches.
