Beverley J. Hanna - Original Watercolour and Acrylic "Please Pick Me"

For several years, I have been donating artwork to the Ontario SPCA. My "Joy of Animals" image was printed as a poster and has been one of their biggest fundraisers.

This image is reminiscent of my many visits to "the pound", where so many hopeful faces look back at me from the cages. If I could, I'd take them all home, but it's impossible. All I can do is try to remind others to adopt rescues and to make sure our own pets have been spayed and neutered. If only one dog is given a good home as a result of my efforts, I will feel I have helped.
