I have not made a large number
of original prints. It takes specialized equipment and
a great deal of dedication to do them well. I took classes
at college in stone litho printing, in order to have access to
the equipment used in the process. On the top left of this
page is a photo of the stone upon which I drew the image, which
has to be backwards for it to print correctly (and yes, my model
for this image was left-handed!). As
the image degrades, the quality of the prints becomes less and
less detailed, to the point where a usable print is no longer
able to be produced. At
this point, the stone must be cleaned off and a new image created. On
the top right is the print as it finally turned out. To

Several years in the screen-printing
business taught me that I much prefer the creation of images
than the reproduction of them. However, I have managed
to do a lot of screen printing, mostly in t-shirt shops. The
one fine-art print I have done is called "Pride". You
