One of the area's most spectacular attractions, High Falls, is where the Muskoka River tumbles down the rocks near Bracebridge, Ontario.  The dam above the falls regulates water levels that flow from the Muskoka Lakes into Georgian Bay, so at different times, the flow may be greater or lesser than this, depending upon the amount of rainfall and the requirements of the lakes upstream.
