Just outside Carberry, Manitoba is a wonderful farmstead with beautiful old buildings,
the remains of an early dairy farm. This silo, viewed from the doorway
of the milking barn, is octagonal in shape and is a local landmark. We
were fortunate to be able to photograph the unique buildings on this farm and
I am grateful to the current owner, great-granddaughter of the original homesteader,
for allowing us access to the property.
