Two things which define the look of the
Georgian Bay landscape are the White Pine and the granite
of the PreCambrian Shield. Here
the two are juxtaposed, epitomizing the essence of the Bay.
To capture this image, I hung on the side
of the rockface with one hand, up to my hips in water, with
the camera in my other hand. No sooner had I taken the shot than I lost
my grip and fell in. Fortunately, I managed to keep my
right hand holding the camera above the surface. Sometimes
it's worth a dunking to get a good shot.
