This abandoned homestead can be seen from the Trans-Canada Highway, just east of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  To me, it typefies the vast lonely spaces of Western Canada.  The vee of Canada Geese helps to accentuate its sense of abandonment.  Their haunting cry is one of the loneliest sounds I know.
